Public art using discarded objects

Public art is an attractive field. and it is work that involves responsibility.
In the past, most public art in Korea used to be large sculptures (hand or fruit tree) that were customarily installed in front of new buildings. However, public art works in Korea have diversified considerably since the early 2000s.
Works containing the rich imagination of artists are being installed. They are moving beyond the framework of simply being placed as accessories in front of buildings. They are not restricted by spaces such as irregular walls and flowing streams.
The expression method also uses various media such as sculpture, painting and lighting. Among these, we are interested in public art that utilizes objects that are used and discarded by people.
We're think public art should take the lead in considering for the planet and the environment in which future generations will live in the recent trend of communication art that people around the world are rapidly sympathizing with.

What is a Non-linear narrative?

Perhaps it was "boring or too predictable obvious" that led us to pay attention to nonlinear narratives. We've done everything we can to achieve our goals by planning projects and visual design, discussing clear targets, golden ratios, trends, killer content and more.
However, with the rapid growth of digital, the era of content diversification and interactive communication has arrived, and I don't think the means and methods that were considered formulas are necessarily the best manuals that give good results. Now, there are times when context is not necessarily needed to explain a certain logic.
We believe that the exploration of nonlinear narratives initiated by postmodernist researchers since the mid-20th century is still an interesting area of research. Sometimes I think that an image that shakes rather than a clear image exhibits another detailed feeling.
Many people are concerned about the global environment. In areas where we can't predict the future, such as social phenomena and climate change, we want to break old rules and show our remaining competencies by challenging existing manuals.

We're not environmentalists, but...

Our responsibility to protect the environment is becoming more important. Those who have experienced climate change say that we now need a climate movement.
BIG EYE was conceived with the idea of ‘opening our eyes wide and looking closely’ at all the physical results of not seeing facts as they are in our lives or denying universal things in society.
It is a ‘participatory environmental protection campaign’ in which anyone, regardless of time and place, can share without delay the information they have witnessed in the present if they believe it is necessary information for protecting our future environment.
BIG EYE is not intended as a watchdog that criticizes and denounces society, but rather pursues the concept of communication as a sharing channel. The BIG EYE campaign will provide useful information to everyone.
